Part 3 Day 2 Culturally Relevant Pedagogy March, 2021 (DAY 1-March 1, 2021 1:30-4; DAY 2 March 15, 2021 1:30-4) In this training, several elements of Culturally Relevant Pedagogy(DRP) will be discussed. We will start by defining culture and asking participants to reflect on their own cultural identity. Next, the three components of CRP from the work of Gloria Ladson-Billings will be looked at. Finally, a culturally responsive teaching framework will be shared and discussed. Participants will take away ideas and strategies to enhance their use of CRP in their own classrooms.
