This session is for Middle School Math Teachers. This interactive PD establishes, reboots, or re-energizes the work of collaborative teams. Schools nationwide are using this simple learning-assessing process to connect the dots of a PLC. Maria Nielsen helps teams see the big picture of a PLC and put it all together in a recurring cycle of collective inquiry. The 15-day challenge is a practical way to bring the PLC process to life.
Participants in this session will:
● Clarify the work of collaborative teams.
● Establish steps for a guaranteed and viable curriculum.
● Explore the learning-assessing cycle in a unit of study.

Welcome to Mindful Mondays - Compassionate Systems Participants, Now it’s time to go deeper into the models and practices, so that you can impact your own wellness (and students at the same time). We are calling this series Mindful Mondays. We are fast approaching the end of the school year, and we would like to send you off to summer with strategies to enhance your wellness and resilience, as well as that of students and adults you will serve next year. Summer is a perfect time for reflection and for creating new healthy habits. We have three Monday afternoons in May before breaking for summer. That means we can meet 4:00-5:00 each of those days, and set ourselves up for a more resilient next year. Time cards will be available at these workshops. If you can only make 2 out of 3, please come to two!
